“This PC happens to be mine, and right now I'm listening to it with Tóth Gábor's D/A converter over USB. What I can freshly compare it against is my setup so far: a Ravenna-based, i.e. Ethernet, Merging NADAC D/A converter, with the same PC running HQPlayer on Win11. Although I'm completely satisfied with the latter too, I actually like this new setup better. The Nadac has a more ‘hi-fi’ character, whereas this one delivers high resolution, well-defined bass, good rhythm, with a warm, velvety tone as its defining trait — a full, rounded sound. Producing all of that together isn't an easy task. It also opens up further comparison for the Bpplayer, once the Ravenna protocol runs under Debian too — then the Nadac could serve both the Debian–Bpplayer and the Win–HQPlayer setups on the very same PC, so the two software environments could genuinely be compared.” „Ez a PC történetesen az enyém, és most éppen a Tóth Gábor féle D/A konverterrel usb-vel hallgatom.
